Lay a similar garment flat without stretching it. For chest, measure across the front just below the armholes and double that measurement. Measure length from the shoulder to the hem, shoulder across the back between the sleeve seams, and sleeve from the shoulder seam to the cuff. These are garment measurements, not body measurements.
