How to measure

Lay a pair of trousers that fit you well flat, without stretching. Measure the waist straight across the top of the waistband and double it; the hip across the widest point below the fly and double it; the leg opening across the hem and double it; and the length along the outside seam from the top of the waistband to the hem. Compare those numbers with the chart. These are garment measurements, not body measurements; elastic waistbands are measured relaxed.

DESCRIPTION

A tailored trouser that dresses down easily. The Hartley has a button-front waist, a sewn crease down each leg and a wide, fluid leg that falls cleanly onto the shoe.

A defined front line: a sewn center crease adds structure to the relaxed silhouette.
Comfort built in: an elastic panel at each side of the waistband gives room without a belt.
Fluid drape: a fine, matte twill with a little stretch that moves with you and resists creasing.

Wear them with a tucked oxford shirt and loafers, or with a knit polo and clean sneakers.
